For our homebirth, I was very picky about who would be in our house and it was a very short list of people. Everything from our very first communication through postpartum made me feel heard, safe, honored, and respected.
During the birth, I did not even notice Molly was there until after baby came out and we were all laughing (and crying) together. When I got the photos and video back, I was floored at how many moments were captured. Of course the big ones like baby coming into the world, but also the small moments between me and my husband during/after labor were captured perfectly.
I used to be skeptical of birth photography because it is such an intimate moment to have on film, but I can honestly say I can’t think of a moment I would want memorialized more than my births. The way Molly captured our birth and family was absolutely beautiful, these photos are already one of my most prized possessions."
